This biological pond project in Dorman, Uzbekistan, covers a 10,000 m² water surface and stands out among Artsay's international references. Keeping the water clean with plants, filter beds and beneficial microorganisms instead of chlorine and similar chemicals, the system combines a natural look with engineering precision.
Keeping a water body of this size clear requires a properly sized and balanced system. In this project, 5 biological filter beds keep the water clean. Aquatic plants and filter layers consume nitrogen and phosphorus in the water and prevent algae growth. The water is circulated continuously, treated in the filter beds and returned to the pond clean.
The technical infrastructure serving the pond consists of 2 large and 3 small mechanical rooms. Advanced filtration systems work together with biological treatment to help keep the water clear all year round.
The project was delivered after a 4-month construction period. During this time, every stage, from preparing the pond body to installing the mechanical rooms, building the filter beds and commissioning the system, was carried out by the Artsay team.
The result is a visually striking water area that stays clean without chemicals and works in harmony with nature. The Dorman project shows that biological pond technology can be applied reliably on very large areas as well. If you would like to discuss solutions for your project, you can contact us.
